So radiator hoses has been an interesting endeavor that's for sure,I made some silicone hoses with adaptors to work out the size and shape, and even though I could use these the idea of 8 hose clamps for 2 radiator hoses doesn't sit well, later on I can use them to check the cooling systems efficiency.
So I took my silicone pieced together radiator hoses to Repco and the girl serving me took her time and brought out all the hoses that were close and I made the decision to get one Holden VE Commodore V6 hose (will be my lower hose) and the other being for a Subaru Forester 2.0L.

Here's a video of before I knew that the engine mounts I had were never going to fit, thought I'd put it up to show were I was with it before everything came to a grinding halt.

P.s I'm trying to get it back on track but slowly.

So have been getting a few things done, the fan shroud done and fitted, power steering lines, walbro duel pump installed in hanger etc.....cut the rust out of the back after removing fuel tank for cleaning. So I've cleaned the inside out with water and have cleaned the outside of the tank with a wire wheel as some of the rust is quite bad and it looks like it has a couple of small pinholes in the bottom corner.
Can anyone advise me on if I can seal it up with something before giving it a coat of paint to prevent any more rust?

Hey guys, so doing all the little things got the tank resealed using Permatex fuel tank and radiator repair sanded cleaned and etch primed, but after pulling the pan off the gearbox I found small metal fragments on the bottom of the pan-seamed to be aluminum as the magnet had no effect on them,so I'm not sure whether it has come from the radiator trans cooler or from the box itself, anyone know where this may would come from?like if this is a common failure of a certain part etc...,the car drove and shifted well before it was removed from the car ahhhhhh bloody sux am going to look through the trans filter and see if it has any inside.

So I'm trying to get what I can done with the little I have,at the moment I'm not worried about the gearbox as it probably won't be racing as soon as I'd like-so am running it with the box the way it is (column shift could also be a cause for the metal) but have another box to go in when it is ready.,so am having the driveshaft shortened which has been the biggest problem so far. So all the wiring from the engine to the ECU & from the ECU to everything else in the car including the throttle and the shifter have been connected.Have removed the ignition switch and lock & the combination switch from the steering column so I'm using a switch panel and starter button.

So getting all the power wiring sorted from the battery in the back but I am going to use a circuit breaker to make sure that everything is safe but am unsure of what amperage it is going to draw with the Walbro 460 and the 80 watt fan + ECU etc.....
Does anyone have any idea what amperage may be-obviously this is not including the starter motor/alternator.
I only have 2 20amp CB's and 2 15amp CB's to work with at present and will get a more appropriate CB once I can work out what the amp draw will be at it's maximum.

Ute is slowly running better as I'm working out the injectors and fuel system, minimal leaks and have backed it out in reverse and all the gears seem to be engaging. They main problem atm is the alternator-when we connect the exitor wire it start screaming/could be a bad alternator?

Sounds good, but there's definitely a exhaust leak from the manifold.

Still trying to get the injectors working better, cold start is leaner than the wideband can read on idle.
Can't afford the heat wrap and fire sleeves for the wastegate vacuum line and the power steering lines to even get the engine to operating temperature especially whilst it's this lean still.

No one has realized that this thing is running with a throttle body not made for an I6 at all,the main problem is the injector data problem which I hope to eventually work out,I am thinking of starting with a fresh ECU but using PCMtec which is supposed to be a hell of a better user friendly interface compared to HP Tuner.

Hey all, wanted to ask you guys if anyone knows off a good write up of fitting a mini-spool to these diff's,I have never really done anything with these diff's besides changing axles.

Have driven it/if you can call it that?,more reversed it out just idling as its still very lean and backed it back in, to do the mini spool in the diff :) yeah fun fun fun
