Hey all,

This is mostly to people who have turbo charged falcons.

Just wanting to know what you have done, what you think of it, how much power your making and roughly when your systems are coming on boost.

Im still tossing up weather to go n/a or turbo....

If I went turbo id be looking a the snort stage 5 kit. What are peoples thoughts?

Last of all is computer.....Ive heard wolf 3d, ems 8860 and in the latset street machine fords mag there is haltech comps......to support my car. I dont know which would be better for my applications.

Do a search, have a long read. All of this has been covered before.

With the ECU choose whatever you can that has a lot of tuner support in your area. The ECU is only as good as its tuner.

I have had a wolf 3d V4 and haltech e11k and once they are in and running there is no difference except the cost.

Dan, you hit the nail on the head with the ecu choice... Ive had my car at 2 different tuners this week and both of them cant get it to idle as well as I had it, and that wasnt too perfect either... and Ive only read the manual, Im no expert. But if I listened to these " experts" it would now have a a Haltech and smaller injectors! ( he was a haltech dealler suprise suprise )

Befor you choose the ecu, suss out your local tuning places. If you like a particular shop for some reason, use what they know and support.
Price wise theres a few bucks difference between the basic ecu's but tuning is where the cost can blow out... get a dude that been playing with haltech or whatever for years and ask him to tune your Wolf and it may take hime twice as long to tune, and at 100 plus an hour... get the idea?
All the ECU's are good, they will all work well, but the end result will depend on the information the tuner puts into them

oh ok, well ill have enough money to get the bottom end done and a decent computer this week....

Ive been busy with my car.....Ill take some pics later this arvo.

I just need to work out what parts to get for the bottom end?
I.e rods and pistons, for lightweight and strength and the right comp ratio.

I was thinkin of around 8.5:1 comp. What do you guys think?
I was also thinking a set of eagle H beam rods. I know they dont make them for the six but the 351 windsor 3D H beam rods are 5.956 long and the I6 ones are 5.975.

Not sure what the journal sizes are as yet but if they are slightly smaller I could get the crank machined to suit the rods......But then there is pistons.

Any help guys would be great.

Sounds insane squeak. Is this going to be a replacement burnout engine or a street/strip stormer?
