I did a bit of research for a twin s/c setup for the 4.0L I6. The 4AGZE superchargers, even with 2 of them, will be running out of their efficiency range and therefore the air being forced into your intake will be too hot.

You'll never be able to use just one! Two is still a waste of money.

ok then, looks like back to the drawing board. thanks for your help.

just quickly how hard is it to fit one of those stage 1 snort kits, and what extra cost would be involved for all the 'little things'

In any case you need more fuel and some spark / timing control..So an aftermarket ecu, atleast 30 Lb injectors and decent fuel pump....

not that much more work when you think about the gains from a turbo instead of a supercharger that is not the right size...
