Has anyone here ever run an 1/8th mile before??

I am going to the drags on sat, and I was wondering if there are any major differences in an 1/8th mile to a 1/4 mile besides the distance.

on a 1/4 I normally cross the line redlining in 4th. So... am I likely to be redlining in 3rd on the 1/8?? or still in 2nd??

I have never done any dial in events before (I have only done the off streets at the creek and wsid).. any tips on that?
