anythings prossiable with the right amount of money and modifications. but it wouldn't be a straight remove from the ba and fit it to the ef.

well, for a start, they have different shaped exhaust ports or what ever there called, so a new exhaust manifold will be needed. the ef will probably need some ecu work to have it run the turbo set up. might need to modify the intake piping to fit the different shaped car. i dunno nothing about turbos, but that's a few things i can think of

ive herd that u have to lower the engine mounts as the DOHC head site higher than the single cam heads

Jetspeed did it in their XR6.

Install looked good, but had to cut a square hole in the bonnet right where the VCT's sit so the bonnet could be closed.

So it partly possible.... If it just fits in a EL XR6, if take a stab and say it might fit in something with a high series bonnet (Fairmont and up) as they are a little higer in that place.

that question is starting to sound more and more impractical each time i hear it. I reckon by the time u have dumped in the xr6 turbo motor and got EVERYTHING running efficiently ur lookin at spendin around 10-15 gran unless ur sum dude who gets engines/parts super cheap.
If he was to spend 10-15 thousand on the engine he already has in his car, i think i could safely say he'd be pulling 11-12 seconds down the quarter if not quikker.
Thats my say anyway 8-)

i beleive JetXR was alreayd running 12's or something with the old motor.
But the BA engine is so much more impressive :)
