Cars you see when your driving around. Before I left for Adelaide I was doing some deliveries for work and snapped a few photos with my phone - thought I'd share.
And for anyone who wants to complain that the photos were taken with a phone (Nokia 6681) don't bother, it ain't gunna change anything!
First is an XD-XF (not sure but I thought XF myself) limo:

An Allan Moffat EB - there supercharged 6's arn;t they? First one I had ever seen had HO badges on it waswell on the wheels and that! I loved the bonnet vents (very similar to Ford Siera Cosworths?).

Beautiful clean old Mustang!

Was too far away for this photo, but you can still see the airbrushing on this silver lancer, looked gastly! Some eagle design thingo!

And last is a wicked old Falcon ute, doesn't look like it's been restored or anything, just looks like Factory condition and that it has been looked after for the last 35 odd years!

I was hell suprised at how many cool cars I found out the back of mechanics and that when I was making the deliviries! Missed out on taking a picture of a fairly recent model white Ford Mustang convertable GT thingo, this thing looked awsome!

From memory Allan Moffat HO's came in both n/a and supercharged 6 and 8 varieties. I still have the article (wheels or motor) about them from when they were released.

But still, it is a nice bodykit, not too sure about the rear wing on them though - maybe a little big, and they are good looking wheels.

Speaking of cars in Adelaide! I have never seen so many Pontiacs in my life! Also as many riced up Fords and Holdens, heaps of Commies with Cannon Mufflers, and heaps of stock as rock Fords (Telstars, Falcons, Lasers) with huge 'Ford Racing' or 'Falcon' or 'Ford' stickers or something along those lines on them! Aside from that I saw barely any cars that were modified beyond exhaust, wheels, tints and stickers! And a suprisingly little amount of imports!
Saw a cool purple with gold features Valiant though on the side of the road for sale! And almost bought an XC ute, but it wasn't regod so I would of had trouble getting her home...

Must have been an off day. Altho they usually tearing around near my place, lots of nice mountain roads going up the side of mt lofty.

If you were in the CBD in peak hour, you would have seen plenty as well.

Here's two I took today, I thougght they were amusing!
First of all we have Hobarts greatest asset, our Council Road-Side Workers! You really got to commend these blokes, it takes all 5 of them to stand on the side of the road having a smoke and chat (and no prizes for guessing what they were doing when I went past them again half an hour later)! No wonder Hobarts roads are so shagged!

And my personal favourite, this one over took me on my way to uni this arvo and when i got there he was sitting in the car park! And yes, that is a milo tin sized cannon muffler you see fitted to this Camry Taxi!!! He get's complaints from customers that they find traces of rice on there clothes when they get out!
