im very interested in supercharging my Cleveland, only low boost no more than 5-7 psi ive looked all over the internet for superchargers for Clevelands, but all there intersted in is trying to sell me is kits for the poxy little 4.6ltr :?

ive seen on a few sites people using the Eaton mp112 sc and making there own custom manifold, but being (very) new to forced induction im not sure what is needed to make any supercharging work.

can anyone give me any info on what type/brand of superchargers there are for the Cleveland motor and what ever else is needed for all us novices :)

oh yes
engine specs:

Rebuilt 302 Clev
decked 5thou
stg2 heatseeker cam (not sure of specs)
stg2 Heads (from aulbury speed and performance)
500 holley (2 barrel)
GT40 coil
JP Timing Gears
new rings + bearings

you preferably need a low compression engine to start with
you can use heaps of different blowers

a manifold to suit

if using low boost and saving money you can use an adaptor plate onto current manifold

need good ignition and more fuel and retard timing from std

need a way to drive the thing/s , gilmer drive preferable - costly but you know it wont slip , we used 5 vee belts before for 5 lb on a diesel

6/71 for a huge thing if your into impressing poeple and wanting to get followed by law

other low blow units from
b and m
sprintex
etc
or a few cheaper ones together from toyota
gmc diesel blowers from ebay
centifugal blowers from paxton and other brands
all need mods to fit whatever intended for

theres a heap to know , i could go on and on
theres books out there if interested

it all costs dollars
big dollars

i sti9ll havnt finished mine either , i saved all last year and had to spend last few gs to get a engine to the nats , it was unregoed for the year , but back on tracvk now ,took to power cruise and had a ball , i bought some blowers in from the states , sold some and swapped some , its a bit risky though
