i put my bros XG 4.0 5spd on the gtech and ran a 16.0.
its completely stock with 270,000kms.
chirps 2nd hard.. its so much fun to drive

Auto's generally do better on the drag strip than manuals.

Each to their own tho.

a tricked out auto yes but not with the ford BTR's because of the 1st gear

If you can drive stick then between the stock boxes the manuals faster every time.

You don't need a tricked up auto. Although that certainly helps.

All you need is a higher stall converter. You can get away with having your original converter modified to increase your stall speed.

Or you cold lower the dif ratio and get results that are not far off a high stall.

hey guys i still got the stock auto and diff gears with now stallie and just posted a 0-100 time of 7.93 seconds.
What are your thoughts on that any good?
I am able to do quicker than that with my pod filter coming out where the headlight assembly is.
