alot of guys on here are running AU XR8 intake snorkels and think they are just as good as the SS inductions product.. No idea about the rear door mate.

don't be expecting any real rwkw gains from an intake like that - it helps the engine breathe easier - doesn't add mega rwks's - *maybe* 1-2 at most, if at all. as for the exhaust - the only real way to find out what gain you'll get is to dyno before & after! there are no guarantees on what any particular exhaust will give you - chuck extractors on at the same time - you'll get a better result with that.

the actuators on AU's were pretty good AFAIK - so you might just have one dodgy one - i *think* they are about $100 or so to replace, so worth doing - i couldn't see you having any real problems like the EF's...

chips only after you've done a heap of other stuff - look at a new cam (stg 2 you can run up to with stock computer - talk to wade cams they give FM members discounts) as well as extractors etc - also mandrel intake, K&N filter, etc - the basic stuff, then you should start looking at the more expensive s**t...

the rear door acctuators are very common for failing we sell a s**t load of them. heaps more than the EF ones. 10 au ones to 1 ef one.

also while your looking at your mods try a shift kit and a diff ratio change.

i have a 3.45:1 lsd that would go nicely under the back of it.

From a full exhaust and intake mods, you could be looking to about a 20kw gain at the fly. Otherwise you'll be looking at about 115rwkw.

Get a AUII XR8 snorkal, for $30, you cant go wrong. Get a K&N or BMC Flat Panel filter ($150). Then look at a wade cam, or a JMM kit.

I think a lot of people over look changing their diff ratios to a shorter/lower geared one for an increase in performance. While it won't make any difference to your RWKW, it makes a huge difference to 0 to 100km/h times, and should knock off a bit over the 1/4 too.
