Id want plastic; im told they dont expand as much in sun light like fibreglass making paint fade considerably less noticable, if at all.
Also plastic is lighter i think and if hit on something it wont smash like fibreglass, it would more dent/scratch..
Plastic is the winner IMHO.

Yeah i think plastic has a little more give in it, i.e. more flexible. Doesnt take much stress on fibregalss to snap/shatter it.

It would also appear fibreglass body kits MUCH cheaper than their plastic counterpart.

What he said. The only pro of fibreglass kits is that its generally cheaper.

fiberglass is cheap and is really quite brittle, no give will just snap

Plastic is moulded - it reatins its form and is more durable - Plastic is the better material to use - its also lighter as said. All factory body kits are plastic

Yeah, I don't like f/b glass. The d**k johnson bodykit on my ed that came with the car s**t me. looks alright but being f/b glass it is very easy to crack.

There was a guy a while back who was asking wether it would be a good idea to produce bonnets for the EF/EL's
