yea, they had an LSD available as an option

I have EDV8 Fairmont auto 3.27 4 pinion Open Centre diff which I want to change to either 3.45 LSD or 3.7 LSD.

Quotes range from $1400 to $1700 using new bits.

At those prices would I be better of to fit 9inch diff?
Apart from watts linkage are there any major issues?
Has anyone tried this?

Richie.

I love U-pullit wreckers when they guys don't know what things really are.

Fairmont Ghia's have had LSD standard since XD. The LSD I put in my VL came from a Fairmont Ghia diff that I scored from U-pullit for $105. I just took the "spin resistant diff" tag off first :)
