Hello,
if I don't sell the sun roof, I wanna install it into my wagon... apart from cutting the hole  ... am I gonna have problems with the roof lineing? cos the wagon has a two section roof lining, and the sedan has one?
what other problems will I need to overcome/will encounter? Cheers

If you go DIY...you might be able to salvage the lining...depends on the sunroof you want to put in...an integrated TVS will be more difficult - I'd take it somewhere and get quotes on some place to do it for you - I mean if you're getting someone to cut the hole...they may as well do the rest
I know I wouldn't take to my roof with an angle grinder - I'd be a nervous wreck hehe. |

i used a pair of side cutters that are design to cut circles in metal, dont use a angle grinder. its not that hard just need to make sure the hole your gonna cut is right, the old saying measure twice cut once.

Or in this case, measure 3 or 4 times, and cut once whilst freaking out your gonna stuff it up hehe! If you do it yourself, ask amber for the photos of hers during the install, had a few good ideas like masking tape on the roof and being able to draw on it.. Amber; hows the 5 speed? I so want semi auto haha!

it doesn't seem that difficult...I'll see how I go once I finish some other stuff first...(money wise), might get someone else.. or just do it myself.

really its not to hard of a job to do but what ever you choose it will be worth the effort.
yeah the 5 speed rocks!! another job worthing doing yourself at least once anyway! or least know someone with a hoist, of stands is sure hard work
