Hi Guys.

A long time back, I put these stupid Chiptorque stickers on my front doors - just under the wing mirrors. At the time i thought it was a good idea. but now I want to remove them, and from a lot of sun on them, they wont come off in one piece - they just crack away each time i try and remove a bit.

I have tried heating them up with a hairdryer, and using a bit of metho. but no luck.

Anyone got any goot pointer to remove them???
Id really like the paint work to remain un scratched also....

Cheers,

Adz

Try eucalyptus oil, will soften then, will soften the glue, should not harm the paint, and it will smell all frsh when you are finished :0)

If the eucalyptus oil doesn't work, try lemon essence. that is also good.
Another way is to steam them off with a kettle, don't pour the water on them, just the steam coming out of the spout.

razor blades work wonders. not putting shopping lists on your car is a good start, unleaded petrol is fine as long as your car hasn't been resprayed with enamel.

Tried that one mate.

the stickers have perished too much.

Im going to try the eucalyptus oil when I get a chance.

Ill let you know how I go.

Adam
