what are scat h beams like , ive heard of a few brakages of the i beams
what are probe and srp pistons like - where are they forged and machined
im building a stroker with a 6-71 , that will go to about 7 rpm and do the odd burnout comp
any suggestions

Scat and Eagle are good gear..Though I went with Oliver when it came to rods in my combo...Bad tune and detonation will kill any engine though...
What type engine ? In most cases these rods are stronger than block strenght...

i found out srp pistons are je so they are ok
i had a look at scat h beams and scat crank 2day and the rods r very much like carillos
rods are bronze allooy bushed small ends with scat/ arp bolts
the srps seem ok also - the oil ring has lube going into the gudgen also

7 rpm eh? that's a pretty low revving motor.

My mate is building a 383 holden stroker to run on nitrous and he's using scat rods. He swears by the stuff.

yeh it needs a pretty trick convertor and gearing for the 7revs
