After a couple of months of waiting for the DVD player to arrive it is finally in the dash and all up and running.

Adrian and I spent a few hours the other day installing it in some hot weather but went in quite easily with us even being able to mount the double DIN using the factory bracket from the premo sound.

Heres a pic of the finished install.....

Cheers

looks great!

how do u find it fits with the screen upright? i found with mine it used to bash against the trims above the DIN spaces. this would make the screen always sit on a 90degree angle as opposed to having it slightly reclined :)

any side on shots?

The top din sits out a little but the screen in that shot is reclined as far as it can go.....heres a photo from side on.....

The top din doesn't have the silver surround on it at the moment. The plan is to get a cappaccino double din surround and hack it up and use the top half (from the ash tray up) to stick onto the existing one so that the surround protrudes further from the factory one hopefully closing up the gap between the original surround and the player surrounds. With this i might bring the dvd player out a little bit more as it sits in a bit further than the screen.

It's all up in the air at the moment, i'm just enjoying it running at the moment so the finish product will come one of these days.

Cheers

Nicely done indeed..
What plans do you have to add to this system, if any? :P

Thanks.....well.........

TV tuner is on the cards, definately one that integrates into the system so I have no extra external antennas....

I've got the 2 x 12 inch subbies and a rear pair of alpine ddr drives, still yet to do the front stage....

and eventually i will put 2 more screens into the front seat headrests and was thinking of putting a large screen in the boot but that idea is definately not going to happen soon.

Id like to do head rest screens but honeslty dont see much point for me, plus i dont know how id get the wires to the AVM - wouldnt wanna cut up my seats really..
Id like to do TV tuner, but the pioneer one id need isnt cheap and wont work when Digitat Television is launched so bit of a waste for now so Im told; Ill just do speakers for now i rekon.
