Hi

Ive just bought a set of AUIII clear side repeters and went to install them but they dont fit the correct way also the thing the globe sits in is different. Ive seen this mod on heaps of eb/ed's so there must be a way of doing it.

Can anyone please help out on this one. thanks

on el's, u have to cut away some of the plastic on the holder i think like 2 of the 4 nochtes and the repeater is taped/glued into position

if u get the el ghia clear repeater lamps, they r easy to install, only needs minor variation.

u will need to use a razor blade to cut 2 of the tabs off the standard ED globe holders to eneable it to slot into the lense. Alsom, i believe u can bend the beam thats behind the factory hole for the lense enough to fit the clear lense the right way around.. im sure XR8Chic has explained it to me before

If you're a lazy prick, put them in facing the wrong way. Doesn't look as good but fits no fuss.

Spend the time cutting back the tabs to fit them properly though, looks heaps better
