ive been told about a guy who pulled out his au 3 xr8 enigine stroked it put alloy head on ect BUT the good bit is he has for sale his old heads,cam,lifters,roller rockers wich im thinking of buying and putting on my au xr8 series 1 all the gear has only 7,000ks so what would be a fair price to offer without being rude???? then also what would my heads be worth to sell to someone with an e series???/

220kw engines had tickford modified GT40Ps so that would be a good buy. If you have the engine apart, it may be better to whack in a wilder cam 2031/2030 or TFS Stage 1. Rockers will be the yella terra 1.72...

IMO its probably not worth it unless you get them real cheap. The 220kw heads did have some nice larger valves and a bit of port work which gave them about 10-15% more flow but you probably won't notice all that much difference. I would spend the money on a decent cam as said, like the 2030 or TFS1.
