No f**k way. A lightweight BOSS that revs out to 8100rpm. Imagine that in a GTP or pursuit ute.

why didnt ford do this in the first place f**k longevity i want peak power at 8000rpm

You might want your peak power up there but the average australian doesn't. Ford were considering using the 4.6 quad cammer for the BA but decided against it cause of its power delivery. Too peaky compared to the 5.0 and aussies will think they are being ripped off if they don't get V8's over 5 litres, Specially wen holden went with 5.7 lirtres.

it wouldve be wiser to put in the alloy block cause it is about 40kgs lighter,which ultimatly results in better handling and weight distribution
