Ride: XB Ute

Location: Sydney
NSW, Australia

Hey guys

Ive got in my possesion an XB Ute and an XB Wagon, ute is 75 model and wagon is 76.

The wagon has chrome 12 slotters on it and the ute has stock chasers. When i went to put the 12 slotters on the ute the centers of the wheels were too big and when i went to put the chasers on the wagon, the centeres of the wheels were to small.

Whats going on, i thought they would all be same size??

Is there any way to get around this? All i want to do is swap wheels.

cheers

hey mate, first congrats on a great choice of vehicle.

ok, the early model falcons, i think pre xb had a smaller centre hole, around 1 or 2 mm from memory, they went to a larger centre hole sometime around then for a larger bearing and also to suit the rear disc that started in xb, i dont know why or anything but im afraid thats the way it is, sorry dude, you can file em out, but its a bit dodgy.
