Hi there all, still sort of new to this, but not new to working and building fords.
some people say why bother and some say go for it, i`ll let you all decied.

I started this build about 6 months ago and should be finished in the next 3 months.
the plan is a full rebuild using all ef falcon driveline and interior with a budget of $2000.So it`s not going to win trophys but it`s mixin the best of 2 cars .Of course i`m doing this all myself including the paint.

THE MODS SO FAR:-

EF Motor & 4 speed auto. motor bolted in using ea mounts and unpicking rear crossmember of donor car and welding into xf.
EF wagon tailshaft and diff.bolt straight in ( soon to be a slippery )
EF wagon lowered rear springs.bolt straight in.
EF radiator & air - con condensor. ( made brackets for both )

I mounted the radiator header tank using the ef battery tray so i could use the original ef hoses and don`t have to buy xg hoses.also left the battery like original ef to keep cost down on wiring.
All wiring in the ute is ef wagon minus airbag / abs circuits and other unused circuits.

So as you can see it is basically all ef falcon i the engine bay including air-con. excluding p/s box, brake booster and master cylinder.

Looks Great there mate.

No reason at all as to why it wouldn't work. Should be a nice everyday driver when you are done.

yeah looks really tidy and professional like. How are you going to install interior into the squarer shape?
