The Territory gets a dedicated kit and a member of the production team has a Territory as the development machine for this kit, so its all hands on so far as our experience with the Territory goes.

See if you can get Mechan1k's attention over at AFF. Ummm that might bend the rules a bit! When I update my build thread I might mention that you do Terries as well...

They're coming down S/H too... Pickles in Newcastle have a 6-speed one up for auction this Wed with about 60,000km up, should go low 20's at most. Would make a good project, pity I'm not in the market ATM.

Well come forward with pics when I have them :D

This coming week should see the prostreet intercooled Territory with watercooled comp cover as well. Tuning should happen the week after. The cooler kit won't tfr to the sedans/utes for a while although those could have the water cooled charger. Standby for more action :D

Will run another competition on this thread soon in relation to a highly developed Territory with both water cooled charger and intercooling. This will have the lowest temps of any system in the country.

Check thread from time to time :D Still a good couple of weeks yet

Here are the update pics promised earlier, not showing too much, some viewers will see a lot in whats there for sure.

This is a water to air cooler system with plenty of everything, I suspect this will have near zero pressure loss

Based on the results of the past week this should allow a 2WD Territory to make 275rwkw

Finally we have pics of the full system here

This is water to air with quite a large front mount radiator for the liquid to shed its heat load. You an also see a fitting on the compressor cover and this is first test of the water cooled compressor covers as well once we connect liquid to it.

Enjoy

Hey Tim, do you think the same setup will fit in the AU's? If so any plans to make up a kit to suit?

We will be checking this out in the future, what you see is highly likely to fit a BA sedan, just a few things to check there and they should be good to go

I need get a few more pics here now of the liquid cooled Raptor V on the Territory. We are running a test to Sydney and back with thermocouples hanging of everything measuring temps. So far the water cooled supercharger is showing huge promise in many ways, the charger is lukewarm after hours of driving, the pipework is cool to cold almost and intercooler (WTA) is doing good things.

We are going to come forward with some results in a weeks time about what is what. For now the water cooled charger results may well see us invest in changing some patterns for the compressor cover so we can offer an affordable water cooled charger option. This will also allow us to do away with the air cooling if we get this into place.

The Terry will get a full retune at CT on the way back through Brisbane or whoever of our chosen tuners can fit us in.

Also the water to air cooler is allowing us 10psi at 5500rpm so by 5900 we should have 12psi or very near it. Pressure drop is pretty much non existant.

Very stoked with the results actually.......... but its hardly the beginning yet!!!

I will have some very detailed information on the performance on the intercooler system in approx one week, likely I will take videos of the testing etc.

With this cooler system on any Territory or Falcon we should have the most powerful off the shelf SC kit in Australia as we can get 260rwkw now with no cooler.

Gday Tim,

How is this looking to translate to the BA???
Also what would be the approximate difference in cost from the standard prostreet kit to the water cooled charger and water to air intercooler?

Cheers Dan

We may do our first BA in 2-3 weeks time, it is a Brisbane car and has had a Raptor kit fitted for a long time now. The difference in cost can only be estimated at this time

The water cooled charger around $850 extra

The intercooler kit around $1800 extra

I will review the watercooled charger performance and WTA cooler performance this weekend, from this I will have data to determine bang for buck from both.

I do hope to video the thermocouple readouts etc and put it all up on youtube for everyone to see.

Stay tuned as normal :D

We have dyno tuning session for same vehicle coming up also with all the goodies in place
