Hey noticed a few non ford builds popup lately so I figured I'd throw one up.
Story starts bought a mk triton duel cab gls v6 auto, with 4** *** odd k's on it. Repairable writeoff, had the front end punched in.

Bullbar was pranged, but only alloy, so just replacing it for the winch.

it's 97 model, so decided to update the front end.

Also picked up a tjm hard cover for 50, and a set of 33s for 170.

good luck with the build! like edvct said outerlimits is pretty good, there are some very experienced people on there with a wealth of information that should be able to advise on anything you need. beware the d***head tho, some people are just there to s**t on people :)

Keeping 31x10.5 for daily use, but have a set of 33x11.5 or so muddies, sitting in my mates shed.
not to sure on lifting it, want to see how it goes before jacking it to far other than torsion bars, and yeah, I've been reading up a bit on outerlimits and a couple other forums.

Also have a tmax 10000lb winch for it spent 260, the previous owner messed it up, so I've recoed it, and it's looks like new, not that anybody see's it, haha.

Also work out that bullbar is a lot more bent than I realized so have got a winch bar off a hilux for cheap to modify instead.

with your 33's you may need a body lift to fit but yeah 31's are good for road use!

just thought I'd hrow up a couple pics before roady and inspection.
borrowed my mates muddies as one of mine had slight camber wear, I reckon would just get knocked on it. rest were fine, just throw it to the a** when legalled
got a bumper off my old boss he had sitting around. haha save putting off to make the winch bar fit for now.
once it's legal it'll become a 4b.
