Can anyone please tell me what the rear door inserts are from --- I've been through a lot of Falcons, Futuras and Fairmonts of the EF variety and they don't have the door pockets in the back doors... At least, not on the wagons. I quite like those rear door pockets......... Hmmmmm...... And the padded arm rests, could probably do with a set of those too... Finally have some interior door courtesy light lenses put to one side for me by a friendly Aussie parts guy, so hope to catch you on that front sometime soon...

And yes, tend to agree on the Fairmont velor material... Leather is great until it is so hot you have to wear shorts - the velor stuff is just perfect really - never heats up or cools down, never cracks, hardly fades... Only thing it does do is soak up things like oil, coffee and paint... Be warned...

...and excrement - yes check your owners' manual, it is listed :P

fiend - rear map pockets are on EF and EL Ghia models as well as long wheel base NF / NL / DF / DL Fairlanes and LTDs.

From EF GHIA model (what dcstraight said) is what mine came from and the rear arm rest was changed because the rear padded arm rests wear broke.

Looks good. Nice choice with the velour, i'm sick of the leather in mine. Too hot, too cold, cracks in the sun, etc.

When looking at the actual switches, just turn them counter-clockwise, and they should come out.
