Its easier said than done haha I wish I was a Patient, I believe if I get this new car and fix the old one when the two years is up I can flog both of them for about the price of an F6 or FG XR6 T.

http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/detai ... t=%7ePrice

Something Like Above ^

Low kms so I should get and Alright return on it.

Probably keep the mods to Exhaust, CAI, Suspension, Wheels and Sticky Tires.

I know its not the greatest plan but everyone is getting FG's and s**t which make me want to upgrade.

Why put an intercooler on a non turbo car?

Overkill? Thought it would be the next best thing to buying a growler haha plenum and intercooler.

I haven't decided on anything yet I'm still thinking about this sort of stuff... would there be any point in doing it or just run a growler.

aww that's lame that was going to make the car haha, im just going through your build thread now.

When I bought my BA it was like a week later I noticed it had a pretty bad knock in the passenger side front end bonnet and side panel don't line up and all the dents and s**t I have put in it.

I feel the same way you did with your EL, there comes a time when the rattles and noises you grew to love become the most annoying thing in the world.

Finished reading you should do some more on the car bry did you have the Diff done or was it optioned?

I think I have looked at every BF MKII XR6 with a 6 speed and within my price range on car sales and one thing I cant stop thinking about is what f**k colour I want.

White Car with black wheels and black xr8 bonnet *kinda douchy*

A f**k red one, they say red goes faster

haven't seen a black one with the 6 speed yet just that ego colour and lots of red ones haha.

I don't think car sales list the type of Diff a car has might just slide underneath the car whilst im looking and check for option LSD haha, After my first car I'm going to go over any car I look at so carefully.

I know you can't really check every thing but s**t like panels being aligned, those ID stickers, Log book basic s**t haha the security code card.

I havent slid under my car to see if its lsd yet. I just researched the vin. Its either a f**k lsd or been replaced with an open spinner which gets happy and gives 2 wheels from time to time. The vin research said the lsd option was ticked when it was screwed together.

That's true I think I will bite my tongue on this one and just keep going with the BA, needs new rotors and pads, another oil change(Going to try a thicker oil last change was 10 - 40), possibly take the rocker cover off again, I keep hearing the f**k weirdest ticking noise that's gets faster with the engine revs... I'll do the spark plugs and get the 20% under drives tidy it all up and go for a tune as the revs are out a few hundred rpm. I guess at some point I will need to address the body work but I think it gives the car character haha

I have passed my hazard perception test and can now pay the fee and upgrade from P1 to P2 :P

Should have it either this week or whenever I can be bothered to get to the transport department.

Then its just a two year wait until I start looking at getting an F6  oh how painful it will be.

Long time no update for this one haha,

So I went to do an oil change on the BA Last week and had one of the Welsh Plugs let go.

It hasn't busted out just broke the seal and now they need to be replaced.

So I will do a write up on the removal and installation of the welsh plugs.

Might take some time to put it all together with Photos etc. plus its not a fun job.

Also at the same time I will be removing the extractors and exhaust so they can be put to use in the new Car which has acquired the nickname "Black Thunder" .

I am tempted to remove the Sway bars as well and put them on the new car but wasn't 100% sure if they would fit.
