The rest looks simple enough so I can widen my search to car seats now as well as wagon...... They are different lengths - you can have a look at mine when I see you - the back seat is sedan, I still have the original wagon one sitting in the cargo area.Aha, you learn something new every day. While having a wagon is cool, the seat options are driving me nuts!

Get sedan seats, pull the covers/cushions off and put them on the wagon Frame.

Did you get some fairlane cappa ones to suit or what? |

Yep, same here, used the sedan fabric on the wagon bolster cushions.

I've got some leather EF Ghia door trims off laydlow and fitted them up. While I was at it, I repainted the door handles as the clear coat was peeling badly. |

I had mine rebuilt for under 300, I went to the auto elec that was colocated with Joe at Crescent. I cant rememeber the shop name but it was steve, address is 54-56 Macquarie Street Liverpool. He has a blosk that reco's them. Might be worth a shot. Pity you got the balancer, I have a spare due to the new motor so my romac will be on the market.

I just got off the phone then to a bloke who will be supplying the gaskets, seals and other bits for me tomorrow. The mob I called before said it would be cheaper for me to get a new one. That price you have is better to my eyes than the one they gave me over the telephone but anyhow, I'm going to be pulling apart my compressor this week and we'll see if I can get the air con running again. Thanks again. |

I'm waiting until I get a new exhaust until I come down again to Liverpool. It needs a couple of new cats as these are choking the motor and they leak. Another job... On a side note, I just got a ADSL2 connection here at home. Since your post, I've taken a couple more photos: ![]() ![]() The current state of my engine bay. Trying to get a good look at any compressor leakages:

Got mine from eagle auto parts, although its for a windsor. It's a stock replacement as I dont do the revs since it's an auto again and anything other would be overkill. It cost me $175 delivered. As far as the clevo stuff is concerned, I have no experience but nothing a good google session wont fix. |

No worries. I hadn't thought about it in ages and as soon as I read your post, I was curious. |

What cam are you running in it Mark? How does it go with the standard ECU and convertor?

EVL098 wrote: What cam are you running in it Mark? How does it go with the standard ECU and convertor? Will be thinking of a new cam for the boat soon and love the idle on yours. I've got a Crane 2040 "Compucam" which is exactly the same as a Ford Racing E303. Has a tad under 1/2 inch lift with the standard 1.6:1 rockers and has a lobe separation angle of 110* which gives a slightly choppy idle with duel exhausts. Peak torque is at 2500 and peak power at 5500. With the stock V8 convertor which is has a stall speed of 2200, it has plenty of punch ie, responsive off the mark although the automatic's 1st gear takes an eternity..... When I got it, a lot of people online said that the Ford cams were old and not that good and that there were much better cams out there such as duel pattern types etc. Even though I'm using ported E7 heads, this combo made a pretty big difference in terms of power, torque and the very impressive mid range acceleration. A lot can be said about the mid range response. I will improve this with good alloy heads and decent diff gears. Since I put your auto gearbox in Matt, it actually drives, idles and behaves with good manners now which cannot be said when I had the manual in it. Alot of that came from the fact that the auto spec ECU couldn't be fooled like my older ED ECU. The cam cost me $200 delivered from the states second hand. Good for LWB Fords Here is a little video of the car in the driveway. Please forgive me for the poor sound quality as it is muffled and doesn't give an accurate indication of the volume or noise levels:
