Ben, it has been a long time since I have checked out this thread and I must say that I am suitably impressed.
 The wheels DO suit the beast, I also like the flairs and what you have done to the B/Bars. It truly is a credit to you. Attachment: 310.gif

Because of the difference, if I buy new springs lowered 30mm and then lower the back about an 1" isn't it still going to have the higher look @ the back? The hard thing about it is how it looks to the eye - so may be ill have to lower the back first then see what the front ends up looking like. Will changing the leaf pack actually have a different effect to using lowering blocks? Btw, sorry for using your thread for my questions!  Anyway Ill take the oppotunity to congradulate you on your work with the EB's (have read thru both), truely helpful and interesting. So whats the next project...??  Andrew

Andrew have a play and dont over think it. ive lowered and lifted my car heaps of times atm it has king spring lowered rear leafs and 2" blocks on that with "polyair" bags to pick it up when needed. the front is coilovers. there is no one height im happy with and there is always fiddling

Car is going well overall. LPG needs a bit of tuning when I can be bothered, but apart from that it pulls strong and is frugal on the go juice too. Things will remain quiet however, as next week I am heading to the USA for 8 weeks on a holiday with my good lady. Get back mid May. Leaving the kids here to mind the house etc. Cheers BenJ

Best of luck mate, my aunt and uncle in law just got back from there not too long ago, he brought a ute from there also, gonna take a bit before he see's in back in Bendigo, VIC though.

Looking great its good to see your up and running with the B series motor
Just curious i am reading your thread did you happen to put a EF/EL windscreen cowl into the wagon ? As i see in your index and page 17 you painted your current one but i have tried searching and no luck Thank you in advance |

I tried to put the EB11 onwards cowl in the wagon, but as it is an EB1, same as EA, it doesn't even go close to fitting.

Cheers BenJ i saw it wasn't a EF/EL quite obvious the EF/EL ones look i just re read what i wrote and i sound like a dumbie But i wonder if it is possible to use a EF/EL one in the box car Also did you need to remove the bonnet to remove the cowl ? |

EB11 cowl through to EL are the same.

No, the bonnet can stay on, just lift it up if needed to access some bolts etc.
