HAHAHA i know exactly what you mean there, i almost did something similar with an AFR gauge in the same exact spot. Actually still thinking about it for s**t and giggles

The white LED parker strips are interesting, haven't seen those before. How are they mounted? Do they have a connector that just plugs into the T10 bulb holder in place of the park lights or something?

I actually don't mind the headlight mod mate. something different to fordfreaks angel eyes.

Did you think about doing the angel eyes before you did the strips?

Nice work.

Only problem with the AFR gauge is that it will read rich or lean as the stock sensor is an on off switch, otherwise I'd have one as well. Vacuum gauge is actually pretty handy, confirmed I have no rings left as it swings to 0 under 60odd % throttle.
They are mounted underneath the lights, basically wedged in, just had to splice into the parker wires. I'm not running a parker globe in the lights now, the strips manage to light the entire headlight up pretty well.

Cheers. Yeh I did think about angel eyes but I didnt want to crack open the headlights as they're pretty new. If I had an XR front end though it would have been a different story.
I may or may not end up doing something with LEDs in the tail lights sometime shortly

Yeh its a LED strip, tucked right back underneath the lights. Unless you go down level with the lights you cant see that theyre there during the day.
IMO it looks pretty good, had a few comments about them from a few mates who are into cars, they all rekon its pretty neat.
At night with just low beams, theyre fkn obvious. With highbeams on, theyre still fairly obvious. They can light up my double bay shed by themselves at night lol.

Cant say I have SLO247, I reallllly like their tail lights though :)

Well I pulled the AU Tickford motor apart this arvo, took about an hour or so from complete with manifold to how it is now.

Got a few pics of the combustion chambers 1-6 in order, then piston 1.
