Bit of an update

I got a venom 3" 100 cpsi cat, and a BA intake, just waiting for them to arrive. Also waiting on my shifter, it's coming from the US so I'm not expecting it anytime soon lol

Then I'll look at getting vernier gear. And soon I'll be spraying and fitting my Ticky kit

you will get rid of the positive stops in no time, almost everyone I know including myself has gotten rid of them. they just get annoying.

got my BA intake on. noticed at bit of difference. looks better anyway.

i used 76mm pipe from supercheap auto, and a silicon piece 15mm long to make it a nice fit into the ba intake (83mm), then i used the part off a ef airbox, dont know what ist called lol, but its 76mm so its a good fit. then i plugged up the hole on the pipe. i will be running a catch can soon, so ill join up the intake with the bottom of the throttle body, hopefully it wont affect idle.

i brought a pod adaptor from auto barn which the pod is mounted to.

Hey mate where did you get the BA intake pipe? And how much did you pay for it? cause I'm still toying with some ideas for my intake.

I hope ya understand, im not being lazy but i rather not take off the indicators as now that its secure, its harder to take off then the measly one screw holding it on.

What a crap design Ford, one screw to hold on a indicator, s**t me its a s**t design.

I will take some pics tomorrow if i can for what i did, whilst its still on and also of my speed holes.
Basically its two large holes in the front side of the air box and two radiator hoses going in behind the headlights and downwards so it gets fresh air.

Man i should do a build thread, thing is the car was pretty damn set up right when i got it. Just some minor work done.

And yeh sunroofs rock

Yes another one of fords crappy designs lol,
I cut a hole in the side and front , but don't have any piping,
I see a build thread being like a biography on the car, u can look back and see where it's came from etc.
I love my sunroof , when I was looking for an xr6 it had to be manual and have a sun roof .
I wanted blue but couldn't find any decent ones . I'm glad I got red it stands out and no one in My area has a Ef / el xr in red as clean as mine

I got it from FTG auto salvage , which is a site sponsor for $50. Around that,
Just send 'xr8dismantler' a pm or email FTG.
It's a easy mod and looked good , I spent about $200 on aluminum piping and silicon bends but it never works it keeps rubbing on the bonnet or manifold, whereas the BA intake looks good and flows good
