Thanks Paul , will enjoy it.
I gave it a polish and a wash which brought it up real nice , but some parts faded back after a few days , so it needs cutting back I'd say . I might take it and get it polished at a detailer.

Yes mate hot chilli red , took it for a spin then goes great . very quick .
For some reason climate control will only demist . it wont blow out the vents in the dash or at your feet

Climate control has gone to default.
Check to see if you have vacuum to the control unit. |

It went back to normal , but now its gone back to blowing to demist only . I'll have to check no hoses are loose .

I will probably end up doing a closed door respray in the same colour, Sometime in the future . as you said it just fades again .
Drove it around today and its going good. Just need to replace a broken exhaust mount .

Yeah, that's all I'm doing - the 2k base is good enough for an acrylic cover. Amazing how all the out of sunlight areas are nice bright red

That is because in the visible electromagnetic spectrum red is the first colour to fade.

Seen s**t of younger cars with clear deteriorating.

So ford used 2 pack paint with the El's or arcylic ?
The paint looks like new after I hose the car down lol. Or in the arvo when theres no sun on it .
