Thats bloody great results for a stocker. Be great to see the increase with a cam at a later stage.

Not bad for 5 psi. water/methylated injection is the next best option since it's not intercooled... or you could upgrade to a kenne bell mate :) basically they can create boost and generate temp close to ambient air temperature.

Nah no cam or kenne bell.

No more upgrades planned until I get a house. Then Ill probably get an XR6T or LS powered ute.

Ive read that water injection isnt too great for the rotors in these things and there isnt much room to inject it after the supercharger. Maybe 1 nozzle into each port.

I dont think it needs it though. Its just something else to fill up and maintain. I'd rather have less performance and not need to keep an eye on a bottle before I decide to drive it hard.

I wouldnt mind trying snorts intercooled magnuson or whipple kit but that is cash I dont really want to spend.

All you need is to tap the water/meth nozzle before the T/B or after, nothing else. not before the charger.

Before or after the T/B in an accessible spot is before the charger...

The air only heats up after the rotors so it would be pointless injecting water before the charger imo. Esp given the problems people seem to have with water/meth wearing the special coating off the rotors.

After the charger because you wanna cool down the heated compressed air. then again it won't work on yours because of the set up. forgot about that!!! LOL

unless you can point the injectors just after the blower outlet.

I reckon it would have problems atomising the mixture that close to the head as well.

Everything is pretty squashed in to make it all fit.

Im sure it will be fine unintercooled for around 10psi. That should make 230+ rwkw which would suit me fine.

The interior of this is getting a make over soon.

I bought a smashed AU fairmont ghia with black leather and a whole bunch of woodgrain for parts. So in a few weeks it should look like this:

Image

I wasnt really happy with the tune it had so the charger was removed. Not longer after this Jason said he had AU J3 chips available so I jumped at the chance to DIY the tune and bought a chip and wideband package.

I've decided a potential 10 psi isnt enough so the supercharger kit is for sale.

We are in the middle of buying a house so things are on hold but the plan is to turbo the ute once we are settled. I want 300rwkw again.
