Hi ash
Yeah getting to extractor bolts is ok,the heater core is still in same place but thats another job to do coz its sprung a leak & steering is another job also wide birth in one direction tho we just replaced the box coz off leaking seals but that didnt fix steering wide on one side, plus needs new extractors coz after having heads ported they to small now, next is new rear wheel bearings this week then stealth intake - street avenger - fuel pump - tune - then Refurbish dash & respray she will completed.
almost there just small jobs & tiding up to go.
cheers
Dino

Cant believe it has taken me this long to find this.
Looks awesome , but makes me wish I had kept mine..............
Oh well I will just have to be content playing with my now other ute.
What extractors are you running on the Windsor into X series?
It would be good to know for possible future reference. Also my bro has a 351 Windsor in his XD and the extractors on it just dont seem to sit right , so thats a one day job.
Awesome ute but!

Hi EVL098
only put this thread up the other day mate ,I just asked son about extractors he said they motovator, but since the heads were ported they to small so going to replace them, son has a mate in that business, so they worked that out all I now is they going to cost $1000.
cheers

Hey devondevil,

I've seen this ute around Burnie a fair bit and still drool uncontrollably whenever it drives past. Pictures just can't do it justice. A mate had told me there was a fair bit of work put into her but didn't realise just how much until reading this.
Great work, to both yourself & Bruizer, and would love to see this on the St Helens cruise if you can make it.

Cheers

Hi Tyre Shredder
Hey thanks mate for your kind words, we was talking today about taking ute on the cruise coz the K's will help, if we do we'll meet up at Perth Roadhouse
We still have a few things to do before its totally completed the biggest job left is a respray, has you said photo's dont do it justice, traveling in it is orgasmic & the breaking is a perfect match also,Im a great believer in if your going to cut corners or go cheap s**t why bother, better to take time & get it right first time.
When it is complete & finished then its onto my project :D
Im I've seen your car also by the way in Burnie Im sure you was going up mount st while we in ute was going down town or the other way round.

I will be staying at son's wednesday night so I hope we will work out then if we make the cruise
or not.

Cheers

I bought it with most of the work done and have spent the past 4yrs repairing the half-a*** stuff the previous owner had done to it, mainly electrical problems. Every time I've had the cash to finish her off and get it all looking good again something else has gone wrong.
I'm pretty certain I sorted out the last of the problems this weekend just gone so now it's time to sell her off.
