In the middle of putting in blue leds in the dash should look good and match the new gauges. Will post pics once I'm done, to left

Got the blue dash working but the needles don't light up, has anyone overcome this. I was thinking adding an extra bulb below each needle

Will be adding clear leds just under the needles on the same circuit. Should fix that problrm.

With the oil pressure its connected straight to the battery with the live and earth but they still play up. Seems odd

This car annoys me, was undriveable for the 4th time this year. 1st oil pressure switch let go, shot oil overwhere, 2nd radiator split lost all water...au's are clever and turn themselves into air cooled motors. 3rd clutch pin broke no clutch... that was fun, 4th yesterday the coilpack failed dropped cyl one.

Once prob has taken the car off the road for 1 day each to buy replacements or weld up the pedalbox at work.

End of rant

Have a set of 3.45 diff gears and an LSD to go in. The gears are from an eb2 and the LSD is a borgy from a xf. The LSD was to go behind a 460 big block so will be plenty for what I need. Wk both these fit in my au 111 diff its an April 02 model if that helps.

Should I port the vct head and a stage 3 cms cam or just bang it in as is? I have the rpm Switch tuned for the vct change over point already so everything is there.

Check if the LSD is 25 or 28 spline! XF's were 25 spline, you need a 28 spline centre.

I do I check the spines? I have the axles from the eb2 should I just try them and if they fit it will work. Or is there markings?

Count the splines or try fitting the axles.

The axles went straight in so means it fits. Awesome so I didn't waste my coin, was getting worried.

Another problem just reared its ugly head. After getting new tyres on Monday a noticed a a** end wobbling about really badly. After a hard brake at high speed it violently started to sway. My mate behind me commented how bad it was.

Anyway after inspecting the diff and surrounding areas, I was thinking watts link but the lower control arm bush let go and the lower control arm had almost 50mm of play.

The 5th time this year the car is out of action.

All fixed now. $240 for aftermarket trailing arms, there made from rhs so won't twist under high load like the original ones would.
