finally getting somewhere with my major project - so far it owes me $600

$300 for that section of the car (paid a grand for a complete running dunga for parts / somewhere to mock up my SC on)

$150 for steel

$150 for the axle

Well, I love it.

I think it is a great idea, and you seem to have it well underway.

This will be interesting to follow.

yeh, will be under the 750 KG weight for un-braked trailers, im guessing that all rear lighting will already be ADR compliant just have to add some side reflectors etc etc, seatbelts and rear seat will be gone (as that would be a big big no no to still have in there), may have to get it signed off by an engineer though (as im guessing they wont let any old cobbled together thing be reg'd as a trailer).

Surprisingly the rules for trailer construction are clearly laid out

oh, ive also started working on swapping the front doorhandles and locks onto the rear doors, had to re drill the rear mounting lug hole, and dremel a big hole for the lock barrel, nex up is setting up the linkages so it all works
