heaps excited in the pants area. picked up my AU motor on Saturday. $440 exchange (they got the old clapped out 3.9L out of the WILDEB)
within the next couple of weeks i'll pull the sump off and get an oil return line thread put in. what size thread will i need? now i can start stripping the SVO's engine bay!

i think mine is close to the 16mm from memory. im not too sure as geoff from snort provided it for me with the kit. let me know how you go with tapping the sump as i have a AU motor here im preparing to handle a bit of boost and will need to do the same |

all i was gunna do was get an engineer to drill a hole and then aluminium weld a nut on or something. can you buy ready length oil return lines or something. damn turbo setups confuse the s**t out of me

Get a dash 10 or 12 speedflow fitting welded on.
Mine is dash 10. |

Yeah. You weld what huggie posted up to the sump then screw the hose over it.
You can get caps as well to block it off. The turbo drain lines can be a bit different. Mine is the same sort of fitting but attached to a flange and bolted to the turbo. |

Best spot in the sump is somewhere above the oil line, so above the baffle plate, and somewhere that makes the hose as straight as possible from the exit at the bottom of the turbo to the inlet on the sump.
