been busy outting a diff onto one of the ef's i m selling an then it decides to piss down rain so nno more cars stuff today  aww well tomoro looking good.. hopefully

well than ill tell you about my day lol, i bought an ebay 2.5 inch exhaust for 220 odd coins and got it today threw it on and it didnt come with any bolts for the muffler mount to the body or the muffler mount so i took it off my old one then it didnt have any thread on the new muffler for the bolts to screw into and the holes were smaller so i couldnt fit a nut on the back, so supercheap welder came out and i stick welded the mount to the muffler and hey presto its on its loud and no more loose rusted out muffler sound every time i start the car, im going to make a build thread soon on all the little stuff i do to my car so beginners can learn the simple crap if they follow along, i also body filled a few dents and debadged the fairmont badge on the back, just need to sand it, might take some pics of that and put it all in my build thread

hey all today im looking at finish off the door trims an hopefully get the other mirror done lots on atm which has stopped me from getting stuck into it

well today i got a very intesresting txt asking how much i would sell my old build for (ea with full ef/el xr running gear)
we talk a little an i wasn't expecting to get a $2250 buyer out of it so i stright a way called my brother an talked to him an see what he thought.. concidering i bought it for 500$ spend 250$ on it of xr stuff an total of around 400 on other stuff i thought the out come of 2250 unregested was extremly good so this is going to leave me $2250 to be able to spend on my new build which is FANTASTIC seeing as i'll have to find another t5 to use which i have already priced at $400 off a mate that also has a full kit to go with it then im looking at 1000 odd dollars of head work an cam so thats leaving me 500+ dollars of other upgrades i can do + the money i have been saving up to use on my EB build an i have found another job which is going to hopefully pay me double what i m earning now so hopefully after my 3 months suspension an 3 months of building on the EB it should look go handle an feel well hopefully not like a standed EB hahaha p.s have had enough time of late to do much modding i have finished off all the doors will post up some pics when i take some ... but keep intune because it will all happen when i tract down a car i can strip a wire loom out off an other interia stuff i m in need of now i don't have the EA.. anyways cheers Dan

Buy lo sell high, especially an ea lol, I bought a 93 commodore station wagon for 60 bucks a few years ago, cleaned it and got 600 for it lol

hahah yeah pretty much
sept wasn't expecting to get 2250$ for an unregested car lol... that doesn't have the best shell :/ some ppl i guess just want something good an willin to spend a lot of money cause to be honest the EA was pretty impressive how it was ... EB WILL BE WAY BETTER THOUGH AHAHAHA

i got given an EA wagon then sold it for 800, then got given a 98 festiva trio s, sold it for 1k and getting it back for a few hungy lol
i like this project. seems alot more people are doing the EF/EL conversions now. they are soo easy. |

haha yeah easy way to make a little money on the side if you can find the right cars
thanks mate an yeah they surly are!! an there is enough info for ppl to do it with out to much hassle updates- haven't realy been doin much as off lately have had way to much other things to do an i've been doing a lot of searching for parts i need i may have found a ef fairmont i'll be able to strip so looks like the EB will be getting nearly all the goodies  :D hopefully anywayscheers Dan

not really been bad weather had soem rain an not too keen on going out side when it is lol... but i have started doing some body work some smalllll dents i'll put a pic up when i get the chance it looks like a dolmation atm .. lol

haha yeash it looks like someone may have run a trolley into the back 1/4 :/ but all got got my panel beater mate around an pulled/ pushed/slapped it out for me an just gotta sand an bog to make it pretty but yeah looks like it may have had a bit of hail on it :/ but meh only small dents
