Gonna put the EL front door cards on soon and gonnas make up a plug in loom for the EL door mirror switch. And need to get the plug for the trip computer then i can wire the Trip Computer in.

Also yesterday i re-covered the back door cards around the handle. they look way better darker grey then that light grey.

The Trip Computer is in and nearly all working. Just need to splice the wire into pin 34 on the ecu and it should all be working. I will be doing that probably Thursday night and i'll get some pics of it then too.

I decided splice the wire in tonight, it all works good. And for all the people wishing to put trip computers into their EA, EB, ED. if you have the trip computer but don't have the plug for the back, you don't have to get an original from a trip computer. Just use the 12 pin connector (low-mid Series)from the instrument cluster from a EA, EB, ED , you may have to add a few more wires to the plug but it will plug straight into the trip computer. thats what i used

I also put the old Cluster in because i just plugged in the old cluster and it turns out the fuel tank was nearly on empty, but the EF/EL cluster said i had just over a quarter of a tank. I didn't think there is that much difference in the senders, also the speedo is reading about 15km/h fast at 100km/h and also got sick of no temp gauge and the tacho reading way slow(read 4250rpm but car is actually on limiter). It should fix it when I put the EL computer in though.

the other day i got ran into by this chinese fella and he broke one of my rims and screwed up my back door and bent the front of the rear wheel arch in a fair whack. i was real p****d off, he didn't have insurance so he is paying for it all to get repaired. on a good note, i am gonna be getting a tidy silver ef gli for two cartons of rum off of a mate. so now the build on my eb will be slowly coming to an end, and i will be working on the ef. the ef needs the head gasket and timing chain done, other than that it is in good condition. it's only got a few tiny dings and the front doors aren't silver, they are light blue. so i will be getting it in a few weeks.

well i finally got around to putting it on the dyno, it pulled 162.7hp. i was happy with that considering it only really has a 2.5" exhaust. i got the dyno printout but the scanner isn't working so i cant upload it. it is also lowered all around now, has tinted tail lights and have HID's. i also put in wiper and indicator arms off an ef, got a better gear knob
