Ok, piccies again until next month.... lol

I decided to paint one of my three spare cluster surrounds :D

Image

That is gloss black

Now, this is how I MODDED the gas hose that travels from the snorkel (start of the intake) to the gas mixer

these are from the mixer to the intake

Image

down between injectors 3 and 4

Image

Above the aircon compressor (burnt my arm a few times as the car was running so that i could make sure it wasnt fouling or being burnt by anything)

Image

The pic of where it joins to the intake isnt so good as my N95 (as mentioned above) doesnt like the dark....

Image

Bogan Spec

Image

Boredom, and sometimes my idea of boredom includes the jerry can out in the back shed and some old wood (i do it on a massive slab of concrete on cold nights :D )

Image

Eyesore, that has been mentioned in NCIILANE's thread

Image

and my only pic of the new power steering pump and accesories

Image

Cheers...................

Oh yeah, i modded the ghia door lamps so that they only come on depending on which door is opened, just have to drill 12 more holes for another door button to go in for the main interior lights.... :D

Im back....

I decided, since i have to put some tools away, i had to move the AU out..... put it this way, Park is now neutral............ i thought, ill tear up some grass by sitting on 1500rpm in neutral and then threw it into reverse, well not threw it into reverse, but waited for it to change into it as the box is already half f**k...... so i got the speedo up to showing 15kmh as my driveway is uphill and i have a grassy patch just outside the front door. thank god that the front brakes just got done, they held the car there very well............ as its only a single spinner....... and as soon as i was just about to hit concrete, put it into park and boy, i found out how well park holds, it just kept on grinding with the revs like it would in a manual if you try to change gears without using a clutch....

So in other words, the auto is very close to being f**k, just gonna take fiend's idea of emptying all the fluids and just let my parents drive around in it for a while... lol

All this just for a T5 :D  at least it will be better

Dude, just go out & get all the gear to do a proper manual conversion, then rebuild the box that you get, and fit it all up. It will be much nicer than a buggered auto. Don't spend time & effort on breaking the auto, spend that time to make sure you have a 100% reco manual conversion to go in.

Those auto's can take a lot of abuse before they die! My mums ED will slip a little if you throw it around a corner fast, but otherwise it will drive & shift really good. It's been a while since the fluid was checked, and it's probably a tad down on fluid. It's funny tho, the workshop that fit the reco engine said the auto "was on the way out" about 2 years & 35,000kms ago. It still doesn't drive any worse than it did then! Hasn't even had a drop of auto fluid put in it, fuel economy is no worse than it was 2 years ago.

Probably needs a bit now tho. I will be doing a service on it soon, so it will get a top up if it's showing a little low on the dip stick.

Cheers

ToranaGuy
