Just make sure the area is clean, then do lots of really light coats. No need for any sanding or whatever. Also, check the Interior Modifications forum, rather than digging up an old thread. There's a couple of threads in there of blokes who have done whole interior changes which might help you

hey man kelvin doesn't come on here anymore, and i'm driving the wagon at the moment,
unscrew the cover agains the windscreen undo the 5 10mm bolts, undo the 10mm bolts one each side in the kick pannel undo the 2 10mm bolts on either side at the bottom of the centre of the dash, unbolt the steerin colum and it should come out |
