Hey fellas, bought it cheap 6 months ago and I finally have the money to play around with it, plus I have a fair few questions so I thought I would start a build thread to avoid cluttering the other forums :)
Its a 95 EF Gli, currently auto but Im hopefully putting a T5 in this week (questions about this in a sec). It had lowered springs and a 2.5" system with single muffler, and 4499 paceys when i got it. I bought the Mayhems not long after. Also installed the decent stereo from my XF. I bought an EL XR6 front end yesterday so that shall be going on once resprayed :D Ive done other little bits but not really worth mentioning.

As for the T5 conversion, I am very handy with mechanicals, but I am not exactly electrically gifted so I need some advice. I have an EF XR6 manual ECU for it, and the loom that comes off the T5, I basically need to know if its a direct swap over, as in swap the computers around then unplug the auto loom and plug in the manual one? Cheers guys.

And a quick pic for ya.

Sweet as mate, I better get a move on with it then. Should be good fun swapping these pedal boxes over :P
I also picked up some other bits and pieces for the interior from another member today, big thanks to Josh for those parts, top bloke for sure. Ill be putting some pics up when thats done, nothing major but an improvement for sure.

ok well its 4 in the morning and we just finished putting the T5 in, only took us 10 days
pretty sure im going to go through a LOT more petrol now, and s**t is this thing faster now.
the old auto only had half the oil that it was supposed to and i think also half the teeth left :D

so as soon as i get another couple of paychecks the XR front will be getting sprayed and fitted
