Saturday 31 May
So today I went to the wreckers and got some EF/EL door weatherstrips and an EL shifter knob.

Put those in as well as the EL centre console lid by flipping the EB hinge upside down and mounting it furtherback on the console.

Me and my brother sorted out the mounting of the EF front seats.
We modified the front seat bolt holes with a rats tail file to let them be adjustable. As for the rears the outer edge closest to the doors should line up correctly, the hole closest to the transmission tunnel however needs spacers. We used a 85mm length of thick walled galvanised pipe that fits over the longer 100mm long hardened bolts (make sure its a tight fit) sitting between the bolt hole on the rail and the floor pan.

Fitted the BA XR6T snorkel, so now the intake is done.

Took the steering wheel off to take the combination switch out, turns out that the combination switches for the EB series 1 are the same as the EA, where as the ones for the EB series 2 are the same as those in the ED. So as I bought the EB-ED one it doesn't plug in, contacted the guy on ebay and he's going to get me to reply post it and send me out a replacement so props to him :D still I was hoping on getting the interior done less the doortrims which I'll do when I do the power mirrors.

Still going to do the oil before I finish up for today. Then brakes tommorow.

Good build up mate, car looks quite good in the photos.

Great to see more EB's kicking around with the EF/EL donks.

Andrew.

Sunday June 01

Got the brakes and oil done today after letting the oil drain overnight... god it was dirty

Also made up a quick plug harness for my headunit using the falcon harness end one of those iso connectors from autobarn and the supplied headunit harness.

The car would've been done for roadworthy this weekend if I had the correct combination switch :(

Anywho, added some pics of the EF front seats in... just need to give them a clean with some upholstery cleaner.

Future plans post registration (in order of prefernce)
.
Extractors and exhaust.
Bumpers colourmatched.
Fit EF doortrims and colourmatched EF external door handles.
New steering wheel.
ED dash and console and fit the lighter EF a pillar trims.
High series cluster.

Future plans that will cost a small fortune to fund
18/19" wheels.
330mm twinspot brake conversion.

Yes, however I'm also getting the itch to do more to it.

1. I'm pretty sure that it definately needs the exhaust done... its the original item so yeah... for now I'll probably just get a cat from an AU from the wreckers and get the exhaust done asap then eventually get extractors and a new cat.

2. Front swaybar bushes are looking a little worn.

3. Bumpers/EF door handles colour matched.

4. EF GLi Door trims and EB power mirrors, I'll probably do the back doors first and wait till I've got the mirrors all set up and working and then do the fronts.

5. New steering wheel, Mid series cluster, ED dash and console, Leather EL console lid and Gear knob

Also took the driver side door trim off because I was sick of not knowing if I had the mirror looms or not, I have the mirror looms :D
