Just purchased a 2009 FG XT in Vixen Red. 5sp auto, shadow grey interior, ford floor mats, light towing kit, 122,000km.

First things first though, next week I'll book it in for a trans service and have them install an external cooler while I'm at it. Then get a service done, just to make sure all the oils and s**t are A-Ok. Nothing beats preventative maintenance

Well the planned list of basic mods so far will be
- Growler Intake - Underdrives - Pacemaker 4495 with 100cpi Hybrid into a dual 2.5" Mild XFORCE - Tune obviously - Better sound system - MAYBE do an LED conversion (thanks for the idea Josh!) - LSD (either a KAAZ center, or try to find a factory LSD...) - Bonnet Bulge - Rims - Slotted & Drilled rotors with better pads. - Sway Bars Pretty much about it for the time being. Obviously can't do it all at once, so I'll be doing it 1-2 things at a time.

Yeah that's my next step, FULL service... Got a voucher for free labor just have to pay for oils and filters, cheap full service Nice list, sounds fimiliar lol

Rofl, I think nearly every new car mods list would be 90% similar!
I might even go so far as to get a G6E steering wheel, they feel so fkn comfortable!

Cept I don't know how I'll go with under drive and massive sound system :/ JoshyD has one for sale, I don't like the silver buttons... At least in black you can't see wear marks.

haha thanks Adam. Hopefully I finish work early enough tomorrow for me to make it down in time to pick her up! Last day for the year tomorrow, I'm sure they'll find a way to keep us there late.
Underdrives shouldn't be an issue for the sound system, if you're running a second battery setup in the boot, so you won't drain the main up front. (Apparently there's no issues with charging the battery from the alternator with the underdrives, but it helps to be safe than sorry)

Sounds like that just answered my indecisive decision to put a second battery... Have to factor that one into the boot design. Easy to check/replace battery compartment.
Hmm... I think I know what my cousin will be doing while I'm away for Christmas... It's good living with a chippy lol
