i could get the pully pressed on if you want ,? do you need the pully off to install it?>

With the DC Ps Pump, take the pump mounting bracket with pump still bolted on to a shop that has the right tool to remove and install the pulley. They can remove the pulley, swap the pump then re-install the pulley. Then you just put it back in the car. Remember the pulley covers the mounting bolts.
Up to you obviously, but I Strongly recommend it. |

I got lazy after work today, but still did something.
I removed the rear wiper and the mechanism from my AU, I also removed the tailgate spear to make way for spraying over the wiper hole after its patched.   I noticed the wiper motor was unplugged, which would explain why the wiper didn't work or even make a noise. Even though I assumed it had been unplugged for a reason I had to see if it worked It didn't and blew the fuse for the front wipers too Here's a pic of the dash fuse panel, there's no 'map' of what fuse is for what or the rating it shiould be. Which is a bit silly..  And without the wiper, looks better already  With the holes sealed temporarily from the inside.  And some without the spear, even though the outline is there from he dirt it doesn't really look right I don't reckon. Maybe if the number plate indentation was completely smoothed to the tailgate, but it just looks strange otherwise. But I'm not going to be doing that haha..   Tomorrow I'm going to give it a good wash and maybe remove the mudflaps if I can be bothered I'm also expecting the TE50 wheel to get here tomorrow

This coming week.
It'll give me a chance to patch and paint the wiper and badge holes in the tailgate before it gets parked on the street so i can give my XF some attention. I forgot to buy them today, but I've got a ire wheel and some rust converter and primer put aside at work. Start getting it looking a bit better

The TE50 wheel arrived today, it has a good amount of wear on the top and right hand side. But it's about the same as my current wheel. Shouldn't cost much to fix at some stage either.
 Unfortunately I don't have the right bit to remove my old wheel, so I removed the electric trailer brake and wiring instead   And a couple of 'before' shots of the wheel and shifter bits.    I also washed it after removing the mudflaps, and it's not paint feel or fade in the pics, it's just the way the water went      I reckon if someone had a project AU BA or BF wagon and completely smoothed the tailgate including the number plate bit it may look good. Not my taste though. I got a replacement fuse for the wipers, they now work again And I bought the rust treatment and a wire wheel, the utes days as a complete rust bucket are sort of numbered

Yeah, well I can't park it in the driveway until I re-register the AU. But it'll give me a chance to fill and spray the holes anyway.
