that BBM is a bit of an eye catcher lol, but i like it.

didnt you have EF GT skirts on it a while back? im not a fan of the XR skirts with the GR bumpers, just doesnt match up with the shapes, but i love it overall

Lol... the BBM colour was originally a mistake I made but decided I liked so never ended up changing! My battery terminals and isolator switches are now gold as well so it all matches!

Nah mate. I've always had Ticky skirts. It's what this kit comes with as the front and rear bars are designed to flow with the front and rear "bumps" on the Tickford side skirts. The original EL GT front and rear bars are nothing like this one. They had to accommodate for the wheel arch add-ons. If you look carefully at my kit and the original EL GT kit there's only a few similarities. I reckon the Tickford skirts suit my kit more than the EL GT skirts would...

Cheers mate! That took most of the day before to do.

I felt pretty good about it until I saw these engine bays...

(The first one won the category)

Not as good as theirs though Mick

I gotta say though... In our category I reckon I had one of the best interiors (I would say the best 8-) )

actually i agree with you now, the rear looks amazing with the added bit on the rear bar, its mainly the front bar that doesnt match the front of the side skirts, but its minor

He can do mine next... The thought of such a task is a little overwhelming... However, it wouldn't be the biggest thing I'd done.

I always thought I'd do a real big engine bay clean up when I finally got myself a bit of boost... But financially that probably won't happen for a long while...

I put up a thread on Street Fords magazine's forum...

http://forum.streetfords.com.au/showthread.php?t=4433

Got a reply from Sam Holier, the production editor for Street Fords. I don't want to read into it too much but this was his reply...

Looks good Sam. Can you PM me your number again?

When I emailed him last time and got into Boys in Blue, was over a year ago now, he said they were very interested in doing a feature on it but nothing ever came of it and I never chased it up... So hopefully he's not just putting thoughts in my head this time :D
