and anything else
...

i have no $$$ and am lookin for everythin i can she needs a new
.Body control module
.Passenger side visor
.Speedo is at least 10 K's under
.Drivers side elec mirror
.Top hinge pin for the rear driver side door
.Trailer wire plug an leads
.Interior light cover
.Center console lid
.Front drivers side indicator cover
...

Trying to get picks up soon cos this is gonna rock im getting
.Tickford exhaust for 150 ish

Nice buy :P , i am a fan of the old EB's, And welcome to Fordmods

mate the most expensive out of those parts listed would be the BCM (body control module)
the rest can be found at any wreckers like pick a part or somthing along those lines.

My baby only cost me $300 and the motor is great and hasn't skipped a beat,
body is relatively perfect here and there a fer door jammers at the carparks before i got it...
any idea of the cost to get a BMC ??? iv lasted a month without one it's just my doors dont lock and i
have a remote but without the BCM i cant program anythin in...
i'm not sure were to locate it cos when the old owner had it he lost the keys in the city and got a
new key and barrel... im thinkin that they ripped out the body control module when playin around
and my heater stays on the demister mode in the front and its not behind the controlls in the dash they are all connected
so i can only lock the car with my current keys but cant unlock it it dont help
the iv got a new CD player for her...

What is the build date of your EB?

Early EB11 cars didn't have smartlock or remote central locking, so it is possible your car doesn't even have this feature. Smartlock and remote central locking was introduced in Sept 92.

Also, if your car is a GLi the early vehicles did not even have a BCM. Later GLi's have a small black BCM which can be found to the right hand side of the stereo surround and where your leg would be.

Smartlock modules are found above the handbrake, if it has one.

Cheers
BenJ

get an aftermarket ignition barrel, doorlock, bootlock set off ebay, i got one for my mates ED a month ago for $110.

as for the central locking, you should be able to pick up an aftermarket kit at jaycar or similar and just install it yourself.

this is the set we used.

did the whole lot in about 2 hours

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-EA-EB-ED-EF ... 43a0142e09

the reason you can only lock the car is because all EA - BA keys can lock any other EA - BA. but because its the wrong barrel for your ignition key it wont unlock.
