Ok lads, front springs aren't left or right sided but the rears are!!

...45 mins to swap them over and she's level!! They actualy still had the tags on with "PS" and "DS"

I think I remember seeing one of the tags after the other side was already in and going meh. Woops, if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right huh!

Now that is interesting. I had not heard of the Left and Right spring thing before. Very interesting.

Yeah springs are left and right handed.
The right side is set around 10mm higher to account for the constant weight of the driver.
The kings springs I put in my ED and EB were marked DS and PS front and rear.
The springs I put in the ute which are kings as well are marked left and right.

Yeah I got the info off my mate at autoline today, they sell dobi's.

He said the measurements were the same but that one of the sides was stiffer than the other...but that the fronts had identical species so they didn't matter so much. The car sits level now anyway :D

...Just went for a warrant and she flew through no worries :D

HAHAHAAHH!!! Please ignore the above pictures of HIGHEA and LOWEA. There is now a third photo called for --- MIDEA.

EVL Mate - You say it is to account for the driver - How about the fact the diff is not entirely centred? Where is the fuel tank again?! Etc etc etc...

Anyways, good spotting NZEA brother.

Now, if only I could convince you that the bolts holding the clutch on are about as specific as a random number generator.............!

(Or how about my "bolts" that held on the factory driven plate? Or how about yours come to think of it... All those nice bolts that would have simply fallen out if they hadn't been held captive by the engine block.........)

Hahahaha, nice.

Mate said it was more fuel tank orientated than driver....

It's more shear strength that I'm concerned with regarding our pinky toe tight torque converter bolts etc...man those were just rediculous. Hey can you believe my car flew through a warrant??

Only the second time I've had that on any car at all, out of about 9000.5 wof's :D

Bugger I just had the motivation to put pics of various crap up, but the recently found phone cable is at work!! Tomorrow maybe, I know your all busting your undies in anticipation...

...also of note is that the uneven ride height may or may not have been attributed to the last spring done, rear left, was not seat properly on the top side...may have had some effect... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

I did the same thing with the springs when I put the ticky ones in my EF. I Still haven't swapped them  Maybe today.
They aren't marked though.

Mate - Regarding the warrant of fitness....

All I want to know is
WHO THE HELL DOES YOUR WARRANTS? They sound well worth knowing!

Swap them over man!

When I told the less worse half the car flew through the warrrant, she said, "ofcourse it did, you spend that much bloody time on it!" the only thing it could have failed on was one of the tyres, but I guess it was just in... :D

None the less, full nolathane going in soon, as my front bushes look less than perfect, noted when we did the springs.

Pretty stoked with the lowering. I presently have a boot packed with wet, freshly cut, council willow and she's driving mint, not hitting the bump stops at all.

So...if you open up this link....pin 30 is the trans position, this being what we all trick when we do our manual conversions, to feed back the correct voltage making it think it's in nuetral

But if you put a manual ecu or a J3 chip in then what does everyone make of what else it says under pin 30. Manual Transmission, Nuetral 0V-0.1V, In gear 5Volts.
