well guys the ol lane has been on the back burner for a while but she's getting done now decided to keep her no she's got a new airbox , new mirror, new bumper (got to spray it) and ive foun an ltd grill but forgot to grab the chrome strip for the top :oops:
she might have some of those cheviot wire sorta mags next week maybe :)

Stick with it mate. They are a great cruiser and parts are still relatively easy to get hold of.

Good to see the lanes/ltd's increasing in popularity.

cheer's bud she'll be coming along a lot quicker now im back at work the only thing im doing performance wise is make an eletronic shift kit and a 2.5" catback as im dead set on getting a 5ltr when the silly buggers in politics say im old enough :roll: more for the note then the power

coming along nicely.. as mick said great to see more fairlane/ltd's poping up in build threads.. i think i started a trend lol

not many lanes around before i got mine, the most memorable is LTDHO.. not to mention a few others, MRE50L's before it got ridden off, and a few on hydrolics, but most have now been sold on or stripped apart from LTDHO

When did you get your licence? If it was before july 1 2007 you are still on the old power to weight ratio laws :D I know coz I did a bit of research on the VicRoads website before I bought my 5ltr and it turned out I was exempt coz I got my licence on 26 june 2007 and the ef comes under the power to weight limits 8-)

na looked into that but i lost my p's for 2 years and got put back to learners because it was 4 days after getting them :oops:

well not a lot has happened .... s**t apprentice wages ;s
got sports steering wheel on picked up some 16's
think ive got a sticky valve its backfiring through the air box under load and running really rich and no longer runs on gas for some reason so that has to be sorted before any more mods not happy lol friggin cars
