Wont be able to do much for a while lost half the shed roof in the storms lasr night water eveywhere looks like a war zone.

Shed is patched up. Now the work begins have to start to eliminate things. First is ecu. Does anyone know if I can test my turbo ecu on a normal ba just to see if it will start?

All been flashed out just want to check if normal ba will start will check spark injector pulse crank trigger etc first though.

First time I have looked at this build, bloody good job matey.
I agree with you about getting OLD too, I felt terrible when I was putting the new brakes on my car, had forgotten how cold and hard concrete floors were on the poor OLD body.

Well i have fuel injector pulse so next thing to check is if I have spark.
Papa yes its a drag getting old I was out in the shed checking for pulse it was 1 degree in the shed hence why I am doing one thing at a time. Have you had the joy of not being able to see whay you are doing can't focus up close etc. Cheers Steve |

hello ive been watching your build and some others im planning on doing a dohc turbo conversion on my el xr6 and was just wonder if the wiring was a hard job? and on other builds people changed the engine mounts but on yours you didn't you just cut the front of the sump was there anything else to change to fit the engine in? just don't want to have to fiddle around and mess around with everything.

Yes wiring was a big job and if you have read the thread lately you will have noticed I am sytill working on it for some reason I don't have power at the coils more work to do. I cut the sump because I did not want to cut the crossmember. If you cut the crossmember it would make it very hard to get it engineered. Papa yes its a drag getting old yeah i have two pairs as well but sometimes if you need that special; focal length AAAHHH diabetes for me too great isn't it. Steve |

thanks, so you don't have to swap or modify the engine mounts?. and looks like ill be spending a lot of time wiring and making sure everything is correct. ill be keeping a eye on this build thanks man
