i guess you could cut these down short as you need then put your ends on ?

I bought a cut to your own length kit for my car. I had to buy the v8 kit though cause they didn't have 6cyl ones in Australia or something. Cost me 80 bucks from repco. Msd leads. Have a look in my build thread a couple pages back.

Ah you guys have done well. I hadnt looked that hard mainly coz i wasnt sure on what the connectors into the LS1 coils are. They not the same as on the distributor I know that much.
It looks like those MSD kits may come with the right connectors..

Mine are the 8mm ones though. Half the price of those 8.5mm eBay ones and They have been perfectly fine for my set up.
The kits are good, they come with a special crimping tool for the connectors.

I'll give u a hot tip whilst doing these if u decide to get some. Lube the inside of the rubber boots with wd40. Makes the lead/connector slide right in.... I was stuffing around trying to push them in unlubed and was sitting there for about 15 mins before giving up and soaking it with wd40... :)

Also the msd kits come with like 3 different types of connectors/boots so there will be the right one for your ls1 coils I'm sure...

Try Autopro, I had custom leads made to my specs with correct boots etc and cost me $36.00 almost 1/2 the price of a stock set.

Well Ive found a few sets of cut your own and I have three options.

Can go MSD 31239. These have the really low resistance, are 8.5mm and a bit more expensive but comes with 90 degree spark plug boots so would not fit real well.

Then there is these. The Street Fire MSD 5551 like xr6_corbin which has a straight spark plug boot, 8mm and are the cheapest. They have quite a bit higher resistance compared to the others tho but look pretty good.

And then there is the MSD 32079 which i got off Nicco's build thread. These are the same as the first ones but have multi angle boots and are quite a bit more expensive but will suit.

So I am thinking it will be out of the bottom two...

The Autopro in Kerang isnt real big so Im better off doing it myself I reckon..

Should do the job I reckon.
Question tho..
When inserting the wire the connector do you have the inner wire in between the
connector and the insulation don't you? So it gets crimped in? Just the pic on the side of the
box it could be either in the crimp or still dangling outside it..
