It will look really good when it's all together, I guess you do what you can afford over time. With a year left one my P's there is no point in doing anything to mine yet...even then I am considering a ba/bf turbo after a year or so.

Not yet. Doing what i can afford at the moment. Turbo now with conservative power to make things last until i do something with the drivetrain and then the engine after that.

yeah thats good.i want to get my tranny out of the way before i start colllecting turbo gear.want to get trans cooler, stage 2 shift kit, and 2500 highstall.you can still drive the car with out turbo on those mods and then they come in handy with the turbo gear on.

Yeah true. Ive already got an electronic shift kit and have a big trans cooler to go on now so hopefully that should keep the old BTR alive for a while.
I would like to go a T56 in there later on down the track but will see what I can afford

yeah the electronic one seems to work. I can turn it on and off and its adjustable. If turn it up a bit it starts to shift pretty hard.
Yeah i might also look into built up btr's too. will see if i feel like going manual when the time comes

well when your trans changes gears, it slips from say 1st to 2nd for 1 second, but if you have this shift kit on and its turned half way lets just say it takes 0.7 seconds of slipping between the gears instead, which makes less slipping= less wear and less heat in the trans and also quicker gear shifts means faster drag times
