Supercharger is IN!!!! I got it back last night and spent most of the night getting use to having boost

Pics and more details later tonight after I have washed the car. It looks terrible at the moment.

On conservative tune running 98ron fuel, 175rwkw @ 8lb boost pulley and equates to about ~230-240kw/475Nm at the engine based on tractive effort calculation. Not mind blowing, but a big step up from the wheezy 120rwkw I had prior. I will post up the dyno sheet later when I get home. Bruce said it pulled a little over 180rwkw but had to back it off due to pinging so he set it safely at 175rwkw instead. Mind you, this is all on a stock, unopened engine with only a full exhaust system added. I believe the system has more in it.

Driving wise, its hard to explain. Its not a massive rush in one hit. Its more of a gradual rush of power over 3000rpm. Very easy to drive. You wouldnt know I had boost till you plant the right foot. Certainly noticeable increse to what I had, and it just wants to keep pulling past redline.

Noise wise, you can hear a faint whine of the supercharger when under a boost. Otherwise, its very discreet. No one thinks the taxi will have the balls.

Bruce mentioned the stock cam is the limiting factor with that power output. He said, if went for a bigger cam, and some mile headwork I would see well into the low 200rwkw mark running on the same amount of boost. Bruce added a Walbro higher flowing fuel pump too as the stock one was leaning out way too much.

I now have to see a specialist in boost lpg applications and get my LPG side working. Bruce put me onto a bloke in Elizabeth to ask his expertise on the matter as he has done this kind of application before. Will see what options he offers.

Well done Shav good to hear it went well.
That exhaust might be holding you back a bit though. We've all gone to 3 inch but if it's got to be quiet then so be it.
Wrap your headers to keep things cool you'll be surprised at how much better it'll be on a hot day.
Put a cooler thermostat as well so ya don't heat soak so much, good heat management can give you a few RWKW's.
Again well done.

Thanks for the tips Cooky. Will look at doing what you have suggested.

The exhaust was a bit of issue considering my original intention was to go for a cam upgrade. I think it will be ok for now.

There was another AU at the workshop, dead stock, stock exhaust with mild headwork and a CAPA s/c kit fitted and it ended up pulling 185rwkw. I didnt think mine was too bad considering the raptor kits are smaller than the CAPA ones.

The Raptor runs cooler and that's it's secret, shhh.
The exhaust you've got is fine i don't think you are out chasing max HP anyway.

Nice thing

You mentioned that the comparison car had some headwork, that can be quite a difference. Check PM I sent you, might be a lot of hidden snort to unleash.

If you clean up those AFR's you'll pick up a bit of crispness as well some top.

Thanks Cooky, I reckon if I was to get the smaller pulley, upgrade to 3" exhaust, and some more fine tuning, I'm hoping to hit the 200rwkw mark.

What do u think?

I think a 3 inch system will get you there but a smaller pulley couldn't hurt.
Stock AU's with extractors and a 3 inch system are getting to the 200 mark.
These mods plus the smaller pulley should get you 210-215Kw at the rear.
Remember to wrap the headers and get a cooler thermostat for more constant KW's.
